The world’s most visited immersive, multi-sensory experience schedules a Scotland stop.
A kaleidoscope of colour is due to hit Edinburgh this Spring as Van Gogh’s works are brought to life in the capital. The smash-hit Van Gogh Alive exhibition continues its whistle-stop tour of the country and lands in Edinburgh’s Festival Square, having previously visited Birmingham’s Hippodrome, MediaCity Piazza in Manchester and Kensington Gardens in London.
See the legendary artists’s works like never before with a beautifully curated, stunningly detailed and immersive experience hosted within a 15,000ft2 purpose-built venue. Van Gogh Alive has delighted a global audience of over 8.5 million in 75 cities worldwide, and Edinburgh is next on the list.
An Unforgettable Cultural Experience
With multiple touring showcases featuring reimagined works by artists such as Da Vinci, Monet and more, this is the first time that Grande Experiences will be bringing one of their artist experiences to Edinburgh.
Billed as a fully immersive experience, it sees famous paintings from world-renowned artists projected across the entire room, with patrons able to walk through and explore the works in great detail. Accompanied by a score and moving visuals, as well as facts and historical insights about the art and creator, it’s an exceptionally detailed and unique showcase.
Bruce Peterson, owner of Grande Experiences, the team behind the show, told us: “After mesmerising a global audience of over eight million people and selling-out cities all over the world, including Rome, Sydney and of course our most recent location at Kensington Gardens in London.”
Promising to be one of the highlights of the 2022 calendar for the city when it opens, Bruce wasn’t holding back in his excitement: “This is an unforgettable cultural experience for all the family, and we’re incredibly excited to be bringing Van Gogh Alive to Scotland’s capital city.”
