Spinnaker Watches Celebrate 15 years of Help for Heroes

Spinnaker Watches are delighted to introduce the Spinnaker Cahill 300 Automatic Help for Heroes Limited Edition, created in conjunction with and in aid of the British veterans’ charity Help for Heroes. This marks the latest chapter in the successful partnership between Spinnaker Watches and Help for Heroes.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War and Spinnaker is bringing a uniquely designed, commemorative timepiece to pay homage to the service and sacrifice of those who served during this chapter in the history of the British Armed Forces.

Help For Heroes is the leading veteran’s charity founded to provide lifetime support to those wounded in the service of their country. Every course and activity offered by them aims to empower veterans to look beyond illness and injury, regain their purpose, reach their potential and have a positive impact on society.

The 43mm case is robust yet wearable, helping to deliver an impressive 300m of water resistance. Crafted out of solid marine grade 316L stainless steel, the aluminum inlaid diver uni-directional bezel calls out the 40-year anniversary of the Falklands Conflict.

The 15-minute mark is also highlighted on the bezel as a nod to 15 years since the establishment of the Help for Heroes charity.

The watch is secured by a screw-down crown ensuring its durability and resistance to the elements. Cleanly and unabashedly classic, the dial is that of a traditional dive watch with slightly more adventurous proportions.

‘Mercedes’ style dive hands are re-proportioned and generously lumed with Swiss luminous reflecting proportion and excellent legibility and visibility. The hands and dial mark out subtle references to the three-colour design of the Help For Heroes logo.

Each colour represents the separate but united branches of the Royal Armed Forces. The Cahill is powered by the ever-ready, powerfully robust, and reliable Japanese NH35 TMI (Seiko) movement. Attaching the case head to the wrist is a choice of either a solid stainless bracelet with a solid deployment buckle or a hand-stitched water-resistant leather strap that is robust yet comfortable for an everyday, every-season wear.

The strap is marked by a three-stitch design echoing the Help For Heroes colours – which represent the three branches of the Armed forces, Navy, Army, and Air Force. Each watch is uniquely numbered and part of a limited edition production of only 600 pieces.

Every watch purchased contributes 5% of net sales going toward the important work of the Help For Heroes organisation. This marks the latest chapter in the successful and important partnership between Spinnaker and Help For Heroes.

Each edition previously launched has been an absolute success, and this year’s edition promises to be no different, offering watch collectors, and enthusiasts a timepiece of substance, quality, and importance.

Available from 11th November at Spinnaker-watches.co.uk, £370.
