‘Mentalità on the Road’. A new series documenting the raw emotion and ritual of fandom, recounting the experiences and characters as they are, rather than sensationalised caricatures of themselves. No music, no links, just a chronological narrative of our experiences as we live them. This anthropological body of work will understand the world’s largest subculture, i.e. terrace culture in its many iterations and forms.

For the first episode of ‘Mentalità on the Road’, attended the Tunisian Cup Final between Stade Tunisien and Club Athlétique Bizertin. In our time there we witnessed the semi-finals between CA Bizertin and Club Africain, then spent the day of the final with Stade Tunisien’s Kop of Bardo, who would eventually go on to win the match; their first title in 21 years. Throughout the experience, we explored important issues, such as Ultra’s collective ideas on Palestine, the role of fans in the Arab Spring, and Italy’s influence on the ultras scene in Tunisia.
