Historic Italian side Triestina 1918, who play at the 26,500-seat Stadio Nereo Rocco, located just off the coast of the Gulf of Trieste and the Adriatic Sea have presented an elegant set of home and away shirts for the 24/25 season, marking their new partnership with iconic Italian kit producers Kappa.
The City of Trieste has been identified with the halberd going back to the 13th century, and naturally, it has also been at the heart of Triestina’s crest.
The 24/25 Triestina home shirt offers a classic look, as a crisp, minimalist red shirt with a white collar and subtle details, and the halberd provides its two defining features — with a repeating halberd motif on the collar and halberd-only, stripped-down version of the club crest.
To create texture, the body of the shirt has a tone-on-tone pattern that is loosely inspired by the stone in Piazza Unità d’Italia, the city’s main square.
The 24/25 Triestina away shirt, in clean white with tone-on-tone vertical stripes and red details, has an unmistakably retro look, thanks to the collar plus the repeating Kappa Omni logo down the shoulders which has intentionally been designed with a smaller pattern that was more typical in the 1980s and 1990s.
