Taking place high up on the seventh floor of YOTEL, this unique concoction of disco vibes, gorgeous cocktails and brunch classics could be one of the hottest tickets for your next date night. VEGA has come up with the unique combination of brunch and disco. This is disco dining in the stars, high above the city skyline, in one of the Instagram hotspots in the vibrant city of Glasgow.
Following the hugely successful launch of their weekend brunch menu, VEGA are taking things to the next level with monthly events unlike any other you can find in the city. Complete with a 4-hour DJ set from Glasgow’s own Shaka Loves You, this is a boozy brunch which makes for the perfect date. With Bottega prosecco, ‘Build Your Own’ Bellinis and disco balls galore, as well as entertainment, dancers, bowling and influencers, this is a chance to experience the glorious return of the disco heyday.
Euan Wilson, General Manager of VEGA, spoke about the excitement of bringing an innovative twist to the Glasgow food scene: “We’re delighted to launch our brand new VEGA Disco Brunch, following an unbelievable response to our brunch menu. The Glasgow-based duo Shaka Loves You will be resident DJs at the monthly soiree. With their star firmly on the rise following support from BBC 6 Music, Mixmag and Ministry of Sound, they will be creating an eclectic mix of funk, soul, disco, hip hop and house to soundtrack the brunch. Expect a perfectly blended mix of classic tunes and remixes to accompany the party atmosphere.
The success of VEGA’s brunch menu is built on the excellent food on offer. Their classic brunch menu features all the staples you would expect, plus some classic American concoctions, and is perfectly suited for a wide variety of diners with veggie and vegan options available as well.
Come for the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Waffles, stay for the Vegan Full English. Those with a sweet tooth might opt for the Nutella Pancake Stack – buttermilk pancakes with the hazelnut spread, caramelised bananas and crushed hazelnuts. Add in some heavenly cocktails and a boogie on the disco dancefloor to round off the whole experience.
Imagine an atmosphere where Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’ is reverberating around the room as the smell of freshly made pancakes fills the air. A world where mojitos and margaritas flow readily and accompany the vibrant of a morning disco. Imagine no more, and say hello to heaven on the seventh floor.

Tickets for the disco brunch experience are £35pp. This includes welcome snacks, two cocktails, one brunch main meal and dessert. Diners also receive a half bottle of Bottega Prosecco and fresh fruit purees for a ‘Create Your Own Bellini’. All this, plus non-stop disco entertainment.
